Welcome to Day 5, our final day, of the Special Feature: Making Choices Activity Set. Today I am sharing a choice board that focuses on identifying homophones. This is another choice board that I made in advance and I haven’t had a chance to use yet. My goal is to make enough choice boards to carry me through the rest of the school year. In the future, I will be posting choice boards that focus on the following skills:
- compound words
- plural and possessive nouns
- parts of speech
- editing/proof reading
- and more
I will also be finishing up a few reader’s companions over the next few weeks. I actually have Ramona Quimby, Age 8 finished– I just need to upload it to my Teachers Pay Teachers. My goal is to have this done by the end of the week. Reader’s companions that I hope to have finished by the end of the school year are:
- Pippi Longstocking
- Charlotte’s Web
- Tales of a 4th Grade Nothing (for my summer reading assignment)
